Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Use AI-driven software to process and analyze large datasets, uncover trends, and extract actionable insights.
- Modeling & Forecasting: Build and fine-tune predictive models using machine learning algorithms to forecast outcomes, detect patterns, and solve complex business problems.
- Data Visualization: Present findings clearly through data visualization tools to support strategic decision-making.
- Tool Optimization: Continuously explore and implement open-source tools and libraries to improve the analysis process and enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
- Solution Recommendations: Translate analytical findings into clear, practical recommendations for business leaders, supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and data scientists to understand data requirements and refine solutions based on feedback.
- Automation & Reporting: Automate repetitive data tasks and reporting processes to increase operational efficiency and ensure timely delivery of insights.
- Research & Development: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI (as it applies to data analysis and open-source research), data analysis, and open-source tools to bring innovative solutions to the team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Applicable experience may be substituted
- U.S. Secret Clearance (required)
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on using AI-driven tools and open-source technologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with open-source data processing and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of data visualization platforms and libraries (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
- Experience with big data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Understanding data ethics and privacy considerations when working with sensitive datasets
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends and solve complex problems.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts and analytical results to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Working knowledge: Tableau, Power BI, or open-source libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn highly desirable
- Adaptability: Able to adapt to new/emerging tools and data sets
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Clear understanding of both US Intelligence oversight rules and 4th Amendment restrictions on privacy
